RTT COUP
We've done it again!
November 2011

RTT, represented by SCMS (Supply Chain Management System) Director Clinton de Sousa, has been selected as the private sector representative on the board of People That Deliver.

People that Deliver is a multilateral organisation established to drive and support skills development in the healthcare supply chain in the developing world. It is hosted by WHO (World Health Organization) and funded primarily by USAID (United States Agency International Development) and the RHSC (Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition).

The selection of RTT to the private sector representative role on the board of People That Deliver comes as no surprise. RTT plays a major role in the development of sustainable capacity in public health and has strategic and operational logistics consultants working in the public health supply chain systems of fifteen countries across Africa.

RTT Trans Africa has deployed the largest footprint of world-class medical logistics services in Africa, providing 'order to cash' services for 32 manufacturers. RTT developed 'Hubs Into Africa' – an innovative pharmaceutical supply model for developing markets with 'Hubs' in Kenya, Ghana and South Africa forming the basis for the successful implementation of the logistics components of the SCMS for the PEPFAR (The United States President’s Emergency Plan for Aid Relief) program, delivering ARV's (Antiretroviral drugs) to sixteen countries across Africa.
