RTT Partnering in Logistics

	Mike Harrigan has recently returned from Benin where, in the capacity of the private sector partner he represented RTT Trans Africa and RTT Tactix at the LOGIVAC Consortium Launch Meeting. Agence de Medicine Préventive (AMP) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have developed this unique project, to set up two regional reference centers in sub-Saharan Africa to train and certify supply chain managers. Established in 2011, LOGIVAC is a three-year project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

In an invitation letter, AMP representative Phillipe Jaillard says:


'...Considering the professionalism and entrepreneurism of RTT in providing its public and private partners with ISO 9001 certified services, in pushing innovative ideas by establishing a Cold Chain Forum in South Africa, and in expanding its service offering throughout Africa RTT is a natural and synergistic partner for the LOGIVAC project. Especially your experience in working with public and private partners and providing your partners with value gains through outsourcing will be an important contribution. Thus, we would be honoured by your participation at the LOGIVAC consortium launch meeting to be held on 27th and 28th October 2011 at the IRSP in Ouidah (Benin). It will be an opportunity to present RTT’s experiences in health supply chain management, establishing public-private-partnership and in developing in-house trainings.'
