We have an extensive footprint in Africa, supported by our expertise in managing the complexities and challenges of the public health supply chain in under-resourced environments with limited infrastructure.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
A primary offering at RTT Tactix is our solution-driven advisory service for improving supply chain efficiencies and performance. We have the capacity to consult on any logistics operation, from RTT's in-house requirements to our work in public health care in remote locations across Africa. A key differentiator of our services is that our consultants are both theorists and expert practitioners who can implement the solutions that we develop.

An example of our public health consulting is RTT Tactix's involvement with the US-based Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) initiative that was set up to deliver for PEPFAR, the US President's Emergency Plan for Aids Relief initiated by President Bush in 2008. As a partner of SCMS, RTT Tactix provides technical assistance across all elements of the supply chain and we play a major role in driving out inefficiencies and ensuring that essential medication, in particular ARVs, reach the people who need them.

INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
As Africa's pre-eminent thought leaders in warehousing and distribution, product and solution development is the core of what we do. Currently our research team is developing cutting edge technology to enhance supply chain efficiencies. These include tools for inventory forecast planning, supply chain network modelling and systems to measure bottom line results.

TRAINING
We develop and deliver customised supply chain logistics courses covering a full spectrum of skills, from basic concepts to post-graduate management training. Our training facilities accommodate candidates from across Africa and we also offer e-learning and in-country options. Our courses include Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations Management (WOM), and an MBA-level supply chain course delivered in partnership with the Wits Business School (WBS). Our extended e-learning platform is currently under development.

INFRASTRUCTURE STRENGHTENING
RTT Tactix has developed a range of products that can deliver affordable, fully compliant and fully operational infrastructure for pharmaceutical warehousing, storage and clinics to remote locations throughout Africa. These include our Warehouse-in-a-Box, Clinic-in-a-Box and Storage-in-a-Box.

An added value is that we empower local personnel to manage and maintain the infrastructure and systems that we install. We provide skills transfer, implement the operational processes and train your staff. The result is that at hand over the client receives a fully functioning facility with trained staff and efficient and effective processes.
